Patterned screens, blue glass and a sunlit wall turn the built environment into a study of light.

A room drawn by sunlight
In Light Through the Courtyard, patterned screens divide the brightness into a delicate rhythm above the blue carpets. Architecture becomes both a subject and a way of directing light through the picture.

The city in colour
The blue curves of a high-rise and the turquoise sky behind a rooftop dish make a different pair. Repeated lines meet open space. Their colour connects them even as their scale and shape pull in opposite directions.

A quieter surface
A wall holding tree shadows offers another kind of structure. Nothing needs to move dramatically for the frame to feel alive. Across the old and new work, light becomes a link between a courtyard, a facade and a small corner of the everyday.
